We meet the first Saturday of each month (except where noted on the Schedule). We are a group of weavers and aspiring weavers who gather to share and learn about different ways to weave, or just to hang out and weave together. |
It has lots of room and parking for our group plus it's also handicap accessible. has lots of room for our group.
Any type of small portable loom is welcome, including table loom, rigid heddle, backstrap, inkle, card, frame, tapestry, or potholder. A limited number of looms are available to Guild members for short term loan. Or we can get you started making your own loom. Come join us!
Since we share the room with the spinners, you are welcome to spin, needle felt, knit, weave, or just chat. And feel free to come and go as you like. All levels of experience are welcome, including non-Guild members.

Bring a snack or lunch if you like; many folks bring simple food to share.
Below are some very basic steps, from start to finish, of a lilac scarf. There is hidden, within any weaving project, a plethora of variables enabling countless possibilities for any one project. Chosen fiber, sett, threading, treadling as well as how one's project is finished all contribute; not to mention the uniquely personal touch of the weaver's hand.
